![]() ![]() ![]() today announced the availability of Virtualization Station: an industry-leading integrated virtualization operating platform that empowers the Turbo NAS to host multiple virtual machines (VMs). QNAP Releases Virtualization Station Enabling Running Multiple OS on Turbo NAS Virtual Station is available in a number of Enterprise and SMB focused NAS devices as well as the brand new TS-x51 series designed for a SOHO environment. Virtual Station will allow for full IT permission controls on both VMs and users. Running them all through the NAS will give you a central location for the VMs. Among the options are Microsoft Windows, Linux Distributions, Unix/Free BSD Distributions, and basically anything else you could run on a PC or server. You can have multiple VMs running on your QNAP TurboNAS. QNAP has announced a new Virtualization Station that allows you to run other operating systems in Virtual Machines. However, it can also run a few others now. QNAP already runs an embedded Linux OS called QTS. ![]()
